Rev. Augustine Baah I am the resident Pastor of the King’s Lynn Church of the Nazarene. I have been with the church since August 2017. I am married to Eunice Baah and we have three daughters – Perpetual (14), Precious (11) and Pearl (4).
Before assuming this role, I served as the Pastor of the Fenton Church of the Nazarene in Stoke-on-Trent for six years having previously worked for Manchester City Council for nine years.
I had my ministry training from the Nazarene Theological College in Manchester where I did a BA Theology and Pastoral Degree for four years as well as MA Theology, aspects of Christian Holiness. Before starting the BA Theology degree, I had already achieved a four year BSc Degree in Agriculture in Ghana.
I am a community centred person and enjoy visiting and helping people within my community and look beyond members of the church. In the past, I served as a volunteer for Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank for three years. Currently, together with the church, we support the work of the King’s Lynn Foodbank. As the leader, I work with a ministry team in sharing the work of the ministry. The team comprises: Revd Don Mentch, Mr Noel McGivern, Dr Renison Biran and Mr Ian Mitchell.
I am devoted to the spiritual formation of every person no matter how old or young. It does not matter whether you are have been a Christian for many years or a new Christian, exploring Christianity or open to Christian exploration but not yet at that point, I am ready to journey with you on the spiritual route. Everyone is made in the image of God according to Genesis 1:26-27 and this is what excites me about people and as a result treat everyone with respect and dignity.
