Road Directions The easiest way to find us, if coming from outside of King's Lynn, is to stay on the town bypass and head towards Hunstanton/Cromer on the A149 until you reach the third roundabout. At this roundabout turn left onto the A148 signposted for the docks/King's Lynn,
Detailed instructions:
At the Hardwick flyover roundabout, take the exit signposted for Hunstanton/Cromer (A149)
Follow the A149 and at the next two roundabouts continue straight ahead, ie. Stay on the A149.
Continue along the A149 until you come to another roundabout at the top of what passes for a big hill in Norfolk.
At this roundabout, turn left onto the A148, which is signposted for King's Lynn town center and the docks. You will see the Knights Hill Hotel on your left hand side.
Follow the A148 down the hill for 1.4 miles until you come to a junction with traffic lights.
Turn left into Wootton road (still A148). As you do so, the Orb and Scepter pub/restaurant will be on your right-hand side.
After approximately 0.3 mile, turn left turn into Reffley Lane (before the Tesco Petrol station). If you pass the Tesco Petrol station, you have gone too far. If you do miss the turning, take the next left-turn into Fenland road and follow it until you reach a T-Junction with roundabout priorities, then turn right. You are now back on Reffley Lane.
On Reffley Lane you will notice a row of shops on your right and then after that, a Mormon hall, also on your right.
The entrance to Reffley Community School is immediately to your right after the Mormon hall. Our church sign should be attached to the fence.
Once in the car park, please do not follow the signs to the school’s main entrance as we do not use this entrance. Instead we use the hall’s side entrance. This entrance is not immediately obvious to new visitors, but hopefully the picture to the left will help you locate it.
DISABLED ACCESS: Though the school does have disabled access equipment, the layout of the building denies us a clear view of the car park even though we have a greeter at the door. If you have a helper, the situation is not too difficult, just ask them to make your presence known and we will do the rest. If you are a lone wheel-chair user the situation is a little more difficult because there is a raised curb to the path leading to the hall’s side entrance (see picture). As there are likely to be people going down the path to the entrance door, please wait by the curb in the chevroned area and inform anyone passing that you need assistance. It is possible that the person at the door may spot you. Once the Stewards are aware of your presence, we will help you access the hall.
